Abitalia

Abitalia is a creative team of architects and designers “It all begins with an idea. For us it was to bring Italian excellence, the energy, the passion to interior architecture.”  

Abitalia is derived from two words, ‘abitare’ and ‘Italia’; to dwell or inhabit like the Italians. The idea was to capture the strong sense of design and culture that is prevalent in Italy and apply this to the spaces we live in.

Founded in 2007, Abitalia gained a reputation for passion and strong attention to detail. From the original design studio in Cheltenham, a South Coast satellite office was formed in 2012. 

Abitalia South Coast built on this success and went on to open a small inspiring studio space. In 2024, the design studio moved to its new home, a 3000sq ft Victorian warehouse that has been lovingly restored. Inspired by Boffi via Solferino, Milan, the design studio showcases unparalleled form and function, between furniture and architecture. 

Abitalia continues to concentrate its expertise on working with private clients, developers and architects on some of the most beautiful contemporary residential projects along the south coast.
